The afternoon session / hands-on training is designed for participants who have a basic understanding of remote sensing and some exposure to opening and manipulating remote sensing datasets, as well as Python and QGIS, although not required. Several hands-on activities will be provided pertaining to data access, data processing, and data analysis, focusing on the ECOSTRESS PT-JPL evapotranspiration product and data comparisons with flux tower observations. All attendees must sign up as an Early Adopter to gain access to ECOSTRESS data prior to the workshop: Early Adopters. If you are not sure how to fill out the form, just enter "ECOSTRESS workshop"
All participants will receive instructions prior to the workshop and will need to bring their own laptops. Participants will be asked to preload software and data onto their own laptops prior to the training. If you do not have a laptop, please contact us (christine.m.lee@jpl.nasa.gov).
